Global Cafes is located in La Plata – Huila is a cooperative of small producers outstanding in differentiated cup coffees with the sweet flavour of red cherry fruits addressed in exclusive market niches where is seeking a good quality of cup and life of the producer.

Federación Campesina del Cauca (FCC) is a second-degree association of grassroots organizations in the central area of Cauca that work to improve the living conditions of the peasant, their family and the human team of the F.C.C. with principles and values-oriented to agro-ecological practices, productive diversification, conservation of natural resources, which works for the defence and representation of farmers to dignify their work and the impact.

This cooperative of coffee farmers of the Sierra Nevada in Santa Marta has producers located between the Minca and Río Piedra areas. This green business not only seeks to sell coffee and cocoa but also focuses on improving the lives of the 56 families, with a special focus on providing additional income to women (currently 19) for being female-produced coffee. Progreso also supports them in their transition to organic cocoa and helps them promote their products. This results in organic cocoa certifications, improvements in cocoa quality through correct fermentation methods and different visits to cocoa events worldwide. 

Cooagronevada is included in the “Plan Maestro”, meaning that they are using our digital tools to improve their technical data in the field and commercialization through Beyco.

Asprotimana is located in Timana in the department of Huila. This coopertive produces one of the best quality coffees, characterized by high acidity and a sweet and pronounced citrus profile.

Their producers are located in Timaná, Suaza, Elías, Tarquí and Pitalito (within the department of Huila), but through their work over the last 12 years the coop has benefited around 179,000 families in more than 7,800 villages in the country.

Progreso included Asoprotimana in its “Plan maestro” for the use of digital tools and finding more clients through Beyco. Furthermore they are a good ally for tackling the climate change issue in the region.

The Asoarhuaco Association is an indigenous producers association from the Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta region of northern Colombia. The cocoa producers are found between the Aracataca and Fundación river basins that shelter 17 communities, from Kantinurwa to Kutunsama.

Progreso’s supports the rehabilitation of cocoa cultivation, the installation of benefit centers and storage and access to external markets. The support resulted in the rehabilitation of 6 ha of cocoa, control of the often occurring monilia plague, implementing good organic agricultural practices, the improvement of social networks and contributing to European cocoa networking connections. Asorarhucao is in the “Plan Maestro“, meaning they are using Progreso´s digital tools to improve their technical data in the field and commercialization through Beyco.

Anei is an association of 82 cocoa producers from families belonging to four native communities (Arhuacos, Koguis, Kankuamos and Wiwas) and farmers from the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta and Serranía del Perijá (in the north of Colombia). 

Progreso supports the rehabilitation of cocoa cultivation and trains the producers in the cocoa fermentation to get that special quality flavor. The support resulted in the rehabilitation of 20 ha of cocoa, implementation of irrigation systems and the hiring of an agronomist and technician to support the activities.Furthermore is Anei in the ´Plan Maestro´ meaning they have been implementing and using Progreso´s digital tools to improve their technical data in the field and commercialization through Beyco.

Uca Miraflor has been working withProgreso for 5 years. With the support of Progreso, the organisation strengthened the productivity and organisational management of its members.

The field per hectare has increased from 368 kg in 2015 to 828 kg in 2019 (green coffee), and because of the constant monitoring and assessment of the members, the cooperative has improved the quality of the coffee from 82.5 to 84.5 points.
