UCA Tierra Nueva will improve the attention to its members through technician support in the field, accompanied by the elaboration of a productive diagnostic for 100 farmers, soil analysis which will lead the cooperative to have better fertilization plans, plantation renewals and rehabilitations.

Perfiles Coffee began its activities in 2019 with the aim of strengthening the production and commercialisation of coffee by its associated producers, promoting a coffee sector focused on quality, sustainability and continuous improvement.

Throughout its history, the organisation has built a membership base of 246 producers, strengthening its coffee production, collection and commercialisation processes while developing a differentiated offering of high-quality coffees. It currently has a projected production of 712.69 metric tonnes of dry parchment coffee for 2026, with quality profiles ranging from 80 to 87 SCA points.

The organisation works across several production areas located in the districts of Colasay, Chontalí, Las Pirias, Pomahuaca, Sallique and Jaén, in the province of Jaén, department of Cajamarca. It promotes the conservation and valorisation of genetic diversity and the quality potential of the coffees produced by its members.

Perfiles Coffee is also strengthening its organisational and production capacities, promoting practices focused on sustainability, quality improvement and access to differentiated markets. FTO certification is one of the organisation’s main instruments for strengthening its commercialisation efforts.

To date, the organisation continues to consolidate its growth, strengthening the participation of its members and positioning itself as an organisation committed to producing high-quality, sustainable coffee with a strong sense of origin and identity, contributing to the economic and social development of coffee-growing families in its area of operation.

La Flor del Café Agrarian Cooperative of Rodríguez de Mendoza was established in 2007 by a group of 50 producers from the Mashuyacu River Valley, in the district of Omia, province of Rodríguez de Mendoza, Amazonas region, with the aim of marketing their coffee at fairer prices. In 2020, the members’ assembly decided to take the next step and formally establish the organisation as the La Flor del Café Agrarian Cooperative.

Today, the cooperative brings together around 547 farming families from the province and represents them in the marketing of their coffee. It holds Organic and Fair Trade certifications, supported by certifications and labels such as IMOcert, USDA Organic, BioSuisse, Fairtrade and Fair Trade USA. It also provides ongoing technical assistance to its members, promoting sustainable, agroforestry-based and environmentally friendly farming practices.

A key pillar of its business model is its export orientation: 30% of the cooperative’s sales come from direct exports to markets in the United States, the European Union and Canada. This reflects the quality of its coffee and the strength of its international certifications, while also reducing dependence on intermediaries and strengthening fair incomes for producer families.

PT Toduri (Toduri) is a Small Medium Entreprise (SME) that helps farmers in the village of Latimojong in the Enrekang Regency and in the village of Bontolerung, Gowa Regency, to process coffee with specialty standard and market their coffee with fair price. Two of the PT Toduri collaborating farmers won number 9 and 11 in Cup of Excellence Indonesia 2021.

Farmers can supply coffee in any forms such as cherries, wet or dry parchments and green beans. Progreso supports PT Toduri since 2022. With this support PT Toduri will be able to provide pre-finance or cash on coffee delivery to farmers for a better price.

Agrarian Cooperative APROCAM is an organization dedicated to the production, collection, processing, and domestic and international marketing of fine-flavor cacao and high-quality coffee in the Amazonas region of Peru. Its integrated management approach covers everything from the technical management of agroforestry plots and post-harvest processing (fermentation and sensory evaluation laboratory) to direct exports under ethical and organic standards. APROCAM also promotes the socioeconomic inclusion of its producer members and fosters strategic partnerships to drive continuous improvement in the region’s agricultural export sector.

KSU Mitra Petani Toraja (MPT) is a Toraja coffee farmers cooperative established in 2021. Toraja coffee is well known, both nationally and internationally, for its its distinctive coffee characteristics and as being one of the best coffees produced in Indonesia.

From the beginning of its establishment, the MPT cooperative was able to facilitate the sales of coffee from farmer groups to coffee companies based in Toraja and local roasters in cities in Indonesia. 

Progreso has been providing financial and technical assistance to MPT since 2022.

Koperasi Produksi Agroniaga Asosiasi Petani Nangapenda (KOPAN SIKAP) is a cocoa farmer organization providing training and internal management for its members as well as stakeholder engagement or partnerships.

SIKAP aims to create better market access to market with the goal of a fair living income and access to nutritious and affordable food for all its members.

The activities of SIKAP include purchasing dry and wet cocoa beans from members, processing and selling fermented cocoa beans, cocoa nursery, and capacity building of its members.

SIKAP has received financial assistance and technical assistance from Progreso since 2022.

Koperasi Serba Usaha Famasa (Famasa) established in 2004 is a coffee farmer cooperative in Bajawa, Flores. Progreso has been supporting Famasa with working capital loan since 2020 to pre-finance the purchase of coffee from their members, provide small loans for coffee production to their members and pay for some operating costs within the season.

Implementing organic farming practices and supported by a favorable microclimate, Flores Bajawa Arabica Coffee has a distinctive and unique taste: fruity with a strong floral aroma, moderate acidity and sweet.
