CV Royal Ontosoroh (Ontosoroh) is an Indonesian exporter located in Yogyakarta, Central Java. Ontosoroh supports various farmer groups on the islands of Flores, Sulawesi and Java to process and export their coffee and obtain better prices for their products than on the local market.

Where needed, they also provide technical assistance to improve processing and drying of these coffees. Ontosoroh specifically focusses on supporting smaller farmer groups who are not in the capacity of finding more interesting buyers for their specialty coffee themselves.

The Ribang Gayo Musara Cooperative was founded in 2018 and the winner of the Cup of Excellence Indonesia 2022 price, awarded by the Alliance for Coffee Excellence .

The cooperative processes the cherries that are supplied by the farmers into specialty and high quality green beans, ready for export. Every year this cooperative supplies approximately 60 tons of specialty coffee for the international market.

Progreso has supported Ribang Gayo Musara with technical assistance and financial literacy since 2022. We help them to access finance to support their growing business.

PT Toduri (Toduri) is a Small Medium Entreprise (SME) that helps farmers in the village of Latimojong in the Enrekang Regency and in the village of Bontolerung, Gowa Regency, to process coffee with specialty standard and market their coffee with fair price. Two of the PT Toduri collaborating farmers won number 9 and 11 in Cup of Excellence Indonesia 2021.

Farmers can supply coffee in any forms such as cherries, wet or dry parchments and green beans. Progreso supports PT Toduri since 2022. With this support PT Toduri will be able to provide pre-finance or cash on coffee delivery to farmers for a better price.

MPIG Arabica Flores Bajawa Secondary Cooperative (MPIG-AFB) is a secondary cooperative that consists of 4 primary cooperatives as members, namely Famasa, Primavera, Papataki and Papawiu with a total membership of 1081 farmers.

The MPIG-AFB program focuses on developing coffee value chain and strengthening coffee farmers’ institutions. They provide a coordination function to its members by promoting Bajawa coffee, lobbying key buyers and collective marketing. 2022 is the first year for MPIG AFB to receive financial assistance and technical assistance from Progreso

KSU Mitra Petani Toraja (MPT) is a Toraja coffee farmers cooperative established in 2021. Toraja coffee is well known, both nationally and internationally, for its its distinctive coffee characteristics and as being one of the best coffees produced in Indonesia.

From the beginning of its establishment, the MPT cooperative was able to facilitate the sales of coffee from farmer groups to coffee companies based in Toraja and local roasters in cities in Indonesia. 

Progreso has been providing financial and technical assistance to MPT since 2022.

Koperasi Produksi Agroniaga Asosiasi Petani Nangapenda (KOPAN SIKAP) is a cocoa farmer organization providing training and internal management for its members as well as stakeholder engagement or partnerships.

SIKAP aims to create better market access to market with the goal of a fair living income and access to nutritious and affordable food for all its members.

The activities of SIKAP include purchasing dry and wet cocoa beans from members, processing and selling fermented cocoa beans, cocoa nursery, and capacity building of its members.

SIKAP has received financial assistance and technical assistance from Progreso since 2022.

Koperasi Permasaran Koerintji Barokah Bersama (Koerintji Barokah) was established in 2017 and has gained their export license in 2019.

The cooperative membership consists of farmers in three sub-districts in Kerinci who are committed to adopting sustainable coffee farming practices. The coffee grown by farmers of Koerintji Barokah, in the peripheral part of the Kerinci Seblat National Park,  not only helps farmers to increase their income, but also plays an important role in the protection of the forest ecosystem. Koerintji Barokah labels its coffee as PES (Payment for Ecosystem Services) coffee. 

2022 is the first year of Progreso support to the cooperative with financial assistance and technical assistance.
