Perfiles Coffee began its activities in 2019 with the aim of strengthening the production and commercialisation of coffee by its associated producers, promoting a coffee sector focused on quality, sustainability and continuous improvement.
Throughout its history, the organisation has built a membership base of 246 producers, strengthening its coffee production, collection and commercialisation processes while developing a differentiated offering of high-quality coffees. It currently has a projected production of 712.69 metric tonnes of dry parchment coffee for 2026, with quality profiles ranging from 80 to 87 SCA points.
The organisation works across several production areas located in the districts of Colasay, Chontalí, Las Pirias, Pomahuaca, Sallique and Jaén, in the province of Jaén, department of Cajamarca. It promotes the conservation and valorisation of genetic diversity and the quality potential of the coffees produced by its members.
Perfiles Coffee is also strengthening its organisational and production capacities, promoting practices focused on sustainability, quality improvement and access to differentiated markets. FTO certification is one of the organisation’s main instruments for strengthening its commercialisation efforts.
To date, the organisation continues to consolidate its growth, strengthening the participation of its members and positioning itself as an organisation committed to producing high-quality, sustainable coffee with a strong sense of origin and identity, contributing to the economic and social development of coffee-growing families in its area of operation.
