We are excited to welcome Erwin Novianto to the Progreso team as our new Program Manager for Indonesia!

Erwin has spent most of his career working directly with smallholder coffee and cocoa cooperatives across Indonesia and the Asia-Pacific region. His approach has always been hands-on—sitting with cooperative leaders, assessing real risks, addressing governance and operational gaps, and helping organizations become credible partners for buyers. It’s this practical, grounded approach that made him a perfect fit for Progreso, where cooperative finance is rooted in real-world conditions.

In his new role, Erwin looks forward to working closely with cooperatives to strengthen their businesses through impact investment schemes that truly reflect day-to-day realities. By connecting finance with field insights and solid data, he aims to support responsible investment decisions that help cooperatives grow stronger, more resilient, and more credible partners in the market.

We’re thrilled to welcome Christie Meza to the Progreso team! With over 18 years of experience in the coffee sector, Christie has worked with both multinational companies and local producer organizations, combining hands-on field experience with financial and strategic expertise. Her focus has always been clear: helping producer organizations grow sustainably, both environmentally and economically.

Christie comes from a family of coffee growers, making this sector part of her story, not just her career. She was drawn to Progreso by our holistic approach to development and is excited to support producer organizations while helping Progreso strengthen its role as a trusted partner in the Peruvian market. Outside of work, she has a love for dogs, especially Argentine Dogos, and her dog Lucas already thinks he’s the true Country Manager at home!
