Progreso has been supporting BOFA since 2014 through capacity building on financial and business management, Certification Standards and Compliance of the board, staff and farmer members.

To improve the coffee production, trainers were trained and farm tools were distributed. With support from Progreso, BOFA has been able to sell about 80% of its’ coffee for a premium price, and they obtained working capital from the Rabobank Foundation. Furthermore,BOFA established a banana mother garden and distributed quality maize and bean seeds in order to improve food security of its’ members.
