Federation Des Cooperatives Cacaoyeres Du Nord

FECCANO was founded in 2001 and it is formed by 6 cocoa cooperatives with aprox. 1800 members. In 2003 the federation obtained the FLO certificate and in 2005 it exported its first fair trade cocoa container to a Dutch importer.

The cooperative is currently working on the improvement of the cocoa fermentation processes. The total volume produced has been increasing since the last couple of months.
